Myfanwy House was gifted to us by the late Joyce Myfanwy Symonds and her father in the 1970s. It is currently our largest house with 12 well-appointed rooms. It has an excellent walled and fenced garden with seating for residents. It is located close to Cosham High Street precinct and shops and within easy walking distance of the railway station. In spite of this close proximity it is quiet and peaceful. The building occupies three floors, all connected by a 3 person lift and therefore provides easy access to all floors for the less mobile residents and visitors.
The current housekeeper is Mrs Sue Horan who, as well being a perfect cook specialising in wholesome food, has an excellent reputation for providing great friendliness and support to the residents.
Members of a small volunteer house committee meet at Myfanwy House on a Friday to provide support and companionship to the residents.
