Abbey West House is the most recently purchased of our houses being acquired from the national Abbeyfield Society. It has been extensively decorated and refurbished and comprises of 8 well-appointed rooms, a large dining/sitting room, patio with seating and double garden complete with out-houses and flower and shrub beds. It is located at the very western end of Havant, sometimes referred to as Bedhampton, and is within easy walking distance of the major shopping precinct of Havant, bus stops and the Bedhampton Halt railway station.
The housekeeper is Mrs Jane Abraham assisted by Mrs Sue Bickle. The house enjoys a reputation for excellent food a wonderful family atmosphere. Morning coffee is provided daily and a small group of volunteer house committee members visit weekly to provide help and support for the residents.
